Visit the Historical Markers in the Uintah and Duchesne Counties

ITINERARY:

6:00AM: Leaving from USU Uintah Basin Parking Lot, Roosevelt, UT

6:30AM: leaving from USU Vernal Parking Lot, Vernal, UT

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided

Cost: Free

USOE CACTUS credit available (1 credit)

READINGS:

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • Bring your camera to take pictures (even though the pictures are available in our UB-TAH website)
  • Bring a hat and sunglasses
  • Bring a Notebook to take notes
  • We will provide you with information on each historical marker history. Bring these reading to the fieldtrip
  • We will provide readings in Local History. Bring these readings to the fieldtrip
  • We will provide you with information on how to use these historical marker in your classroom
  • We will provide you with a lot water to drink
